Real Testimonials from Real People
We could not imagine having a more positive experience in purchasing our Fenwick Island home than we did with the help of Susan and her staff. This purchase was not your typical settlement, as we faced several obstacles along the way. Susan first negotiated the purchase of the house for us with sellers who were living out of state. Her timely communications between all parties involved kept us informed and reassured. Although the sellers were proceeding slower than expected, Susan’s efforts and expertise allowed us to remain confident that the purchase would be completed. Once the contract was signed, Susan and her staff worked diligently to meet the needs of all parties involved by scheduling two different settlement dates. We enthusiastically recommend the law office of Susan Weidman in handling real estate purchases.

I am writing to thank you for the extraordinary service you and Susan provided me with my Dewey Beach real estate purchase. It is an understatement to say the steps leading to the closing were complicated and difficult. However, your expertise and extreme responsiveness ensured it happened in a timely fashion and with little burden on us. As a lawyer in the D.C. area, I believe your office provided a model for how to treat clients. I have and will continue to refer clients who need help in Delaware and Maryland to you.

I have to give Susan and her office credit for many of my sales transactions going so smoothly. When a real estate agent is dealing with titles, mortgages, insurance and surveys, it is important to know that if there is an unexpected glitch, Susan’s knowledge, experience and perseverance will smooth out the imperfections. She makes the sale a wonderful experience for both me and my clients. I have worked with Susan for over 13 years.

SPEAKING / PRESENTATIONS
On January 17, 2012, Susan Pittard Weidman, P. A., and two of her associates were guest speakers at the monthly luncheon meeting of the Southern Delaware Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). The threesome presented timely, pertinent information on legal services critical to our membership, such as estate planning, wills and revocable trusts, and durable powers of attorney.
The presentations were informative and tailored to the audience, which consisted primarily of seniors. Favorable comments were received from our members, many of whom indicated they plan to take action after hearing the talk. Although the speakers identified services available from their Law Office, there was no hint of marketing. The presentations were well received, and we were appreciative that three busy attorneys took the time to come and speak to our group. Thirty-six members and their guests attended the meeting, which was the largest crowd in several years.

On Tuesday, February 14th, the AARP Chapter 5226 had its monthly luncheon meeting, at Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club.
The Program was “Elder Law” presented by Susan Weidman and Meaghan Hudson.
The response was overwhelming: First there were 117 attendees, which is a record turnout. Second the program was excellent. The attorneys provided information on Wills, Trusts, Living Wills, Durable power of attorney and recent Delaware updates on these documents. It was presented as an open forum, which provided the audience an opportunity to ask questions, interact and thus gather valuable insight and information.
Informational packets were supplied to the attendees by the attorneys.
The feedback has been positive and tremendous from the chapter members.
We thank Susan and Meaghan for taking the time from their busy schedules. They gave the members the opportunity to hear and hopefully implement a plan to update their necessary and important documents.
